No. You can schedule directly without a referral or diagnosis. ACT and visual therapy are openly accessible also for mild complaints or a life question.
You get a first impression during the introductory conversation. ACT fits well if you notice that pure talking or "solving it rationally" is not getting you further and if you are open to experiential work with materials in your hands.
An average program is 8 to 12 sessions of 60 minutes. During intake we align duration with your question, and we evaluate along the way whether we are on course. Shorter or longer is always possible in dialogue.
No. It is not about making art or pretty end results it is about what the making process shows you. Many participants have never drawn before and that very openness often works the strongest.
Then we say so to each other. The therapeutic relationship is decisive for the effect if it does not work, the therapy does not help. You can stop at any moment and I can refer you onward where needed.
No. ACT en Verbeeld deliberately works outside the insured Dutch mental healthcare system no DSM diagnosis required, no mandatory data sharing with your insurer and you determine duration and frequency yourself. Other routes for reimbursement exist, such as via your employer.
Often yes. Many employers have a vitality, training or development budget from which coaching and therapy can be reimbursed. Ask HR or your manager about the options. I can draw up a quote on letterhead for you.
The practice is at Willibrorduslaan 5 in Eersel, with the entrance via the grey sliding door on Runstraat. From Eindhoven and the Kempen region you are there within 20 minutes. Visits by appointment only.
Up to 24 hours before the appointment you can reschedule or cancel free of charge preferably by email or phone. Later cancellations are billed. The full terms are in the general terms and conditions.
